Among the older Chinese Folks, there is a belief that Goddess Of Pregnancy (胎神 - Tai Shen) is hanging around in the house of a pregnant woman, or on an object in the house. Goddess Of Pregnancy (胎神 - Tai Shen) is a spirit entity that helps to protect the unborn child until the day the baby is born and continue to linger around the house for 100 days after the child is born to make sure everything is Ok and perfect before leaving.

The Chinese Calendar and also the Chinese Almanac (通胜) have timing records of the movement, direction and location of  the  Goddess Of Pregnancy (胎神 - Tai Shen).  Any person who is able to read  them will able to pinpoint where the  location of  Goddess Of Pregnancy (胎神 - Tai Shen) on that particular  day and time. If not, a Chinese Fortune Teller, or Taoist Master , Taoist Sorcerer , as well as a Feng Shui Master may do the job.

If happened that  Goddess Of Pregnancy (胎神 - Tai Shen) is offended, which show signs of danger such as sicknesses on the pregnant woman that might harm the unborn child, such as miscarriage or baby born premature or disabled etc,  a Zhen Sha Fu (镇煞符) - (A Talisman to suppress evil energy of a surrounding / area / premises), can be used to rectify the problem.
