Many Modern Days Chinese, especially the English Educated ones, and even many Westerners who are into Feng Shui Studies, Bazi & Fortune Telling, have never heard of an Ancient Chinese Yearly Foretelling Book, called 'Di Nu Jing' (地母经) - Earth Mother Scripture /Sutra/ Classic. 
In fact, if the whole world were able to gain access to Di Nu Jing (地母经), many people around the world would have been pepared and take precaution for the "millions of death" coming their way in 2020. By understanding Di Nu Jing (地母经), You will know in another 60 years time, there will be a lot of sudden deaths of humans again.
Many Chinese don't know how to use and read Chinese Almanac (通勝 - Tong Sheng). Even many modern days Chinese (English Educated and even the Highly Chinese Educated) considered Chinese Almanac (通勝 - Tong Sheng) as mere superstition only read by the lowly educated.
In the 1st page of the Chinese Almanac (通勝 - Tong Sheng), usually will be the Spring Ox diagram (春牛图). It is a pictorial composition of a Spring Ox (春牛 - Chun Niu), the Oxherd (or known as the Spirit of Spring - 芒神) and its agricultural surrounding.
The pictorial diagram is to inform the farmers of the outcome of the year. Below the Spring Ox diagram (春牛图), there will be the （地母经 - Di Nu Jing） 'Earth Mother Scripture /Sutra/ Classic'.
In ancient time, Spring Ox diagram (春牛图) and（地母经 - Di Nu Jing) were the forecast of the weather for the coming year, so that farmers can know how to cultivate to obtain the best harvest.
In modern days context, such information can be considered as a way to predict the worldly events and economy for the coming year, because the whole world now is globally interconnected, whereby countries are doing business with one another. If one country's economy (especially China) is affected, it will affect other countries as well.
(地母经 - Di Nu Jing） - 'Earth Mother Scripture' is short form for (黄帝.地母经 - Huang Di.Di Mu Jing) - Yellow Emperor's Earth Mother Scripture.
Di Nu Jing (地母经) predicts the growth and harvest of crops every year, according to the order of 60 Jia-Zi (六十甲子) of Tai Sui- Gan Zhi （太岁.干支）. It also fortells the country's events that are going to happen on that year.
*The 60 Years Cycle (六十干支) is also named the sexagenary cycle or the stem-branch cycle. It is based on the combinations of a cycle of ten heavenly stems and twelve earthly branches. Taking 2 examples of predictions - Year 2020 and 2021：
太岁庚子年，人民多暴卒。春夏水淹流，秋冬频饥渴。高田犹及半，晚稻无可割。秦淮足流荡，吴楚多劫夺。桑叶须后贱，蚕娘情不悦。见蚕不见丝，徒劳用心切。卜曰︰鼠耗出头年，高低多偏颇。更看三冬里，山头起墓田。
From the Original text of （地母经 - Di Nu Jing） on 2020 - Geng Zi Year (庚子年), on the very 1st sentence, it immediately stated "太岁庚子年，人民多暴卒"- "In the Year of Geng Zi (庚子), many people will die from sudden death". During 2020 , Covid-19 Pandemic have caused millions of death around the globe.
Looking Back: The big events that happened in Geng Zi Year (庚子年) in China history:
- The First Opium War (1840)
- The Invasion of the Eight-Nation Army (1900)
- The start of Great Chinese Femine (1960)
Few more days (from the time of posting this article) will be Year 2021. So what does Di Nu Jing (地母经) said about 2021 - Xin Chou Year (辛丑年) ?
太岁辛丑年，疾病稍纷纷。
吴越桑麻好，荆楚米麦臻。
春夏均甘雨，秋冬得十分。
桑叶树头秀，蚕姑自欢欣。
人民渐苏息，六畜瘴逡巡。
卜曰
辛丑牛为首，高低甚可怜。
人民留一半，快活好桑田。
Translation:
In the Xin Chou Year, a little disease.
The good mulberries of Wu and Yue, The best rice and wheat of Jing and Chu.
It is rainy in spring and summer, and very much in autumn and winter.
The mulberry leaves show, and the silkworms rejoice.
The people gradually took a breather, and the six animals languished.
Bu Yue (卜曰) - Divination
Headed by the Xin Chou Cow, highs and lows are pitiful.
Remaining are half of the population, happy mulberry fields.
Meaning: At the beginning of 2021, Many people had died, those who survived were finally able to take a breather. Agriculture in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River will improve. Rain and water will be sufficient in spring and summer, and crops will grow well. Although condition for human beings can be eased, domestic animals (horse, cattle, breeding, chickens, dogs, pigs) may have a major wave of elimination, and epidemics will be endemic among domestic animals. Many animals will die.
From the above 2 examples, You can understand why such information will benefit You to take personal precaution and preparation.
Interesting Point to take note: Di Nu Jing (地母经) contains 60 poems. Each specific poem explains the environmental and agricultural condition in China (and affecting the world) of that corresponding Year, in a 60-Year Cycle (60 Jia-Zi - 六十甲子). What is happening now in China (and the world), is going to happen the same way again in 60 years time. By getting hold of 'Di Nu Jing (地母经)', You can predict on a yearly basis, the upcoming world issues related to environment and food, and take precautionary measure for own survival.

1) Until now, there is still no English translation of 'Earth Mother Sutra' (地母经 - Di Mu Jing).
2) Many Westerners don't know that such a 'Yearly environmental / agricultural fortelling book (or Texts) of a 60 Year Cycle of Ancient Chinese' exist.
3) If the whole world were able to access to the information stated in 'Di Nu Jing (地母经), people in China (and around the world) would be on guard for the upcoming global environmental (and food) issue that are going to affect them.
4) The Chinese folks (both English Edudated and Chinese Educated) who have been 'looking down' upon their own source of Chinese Metaphysical Knowledge (中华玄学) of their own Chinese Ancestors, should do self-reflection. The Westerners are hoping to gain access to the wisdom of Ancient Chinese Texts but they can't because, many of such writings are not translated into English.. and then too many Chinese Folks themselves think lowly of their own Ancient Chinese Culture and Written Texts of Wisdom.
